& Historic Preservation In Miami-Dade

This year’s Give Miami Day will take place on Thursday, November 16, 2017 . The 24-hour event begins at 12 a.m. EST on November 16th and ends at 12 a.m. EST on November 17th.

Give Miami Day is the largest annual giving event in the Southeast United States. Held online, Give Miami Day allows all individuals in our community to make a philanthropic impact by collectively supporting local nonprofit organizations. In 2016, Give Miami Day made history, raising $9.1 million for 660+ local nonprofits from more than 19,000 donors spanning the city, nation and globe.

The Miami Foundation and its partners will maximize the community's generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received on November 16th through givemiamiday.org.

Your donation will help The Villagers in their mission to protect, advocate for, and promote our special places, structures, sites, and objects which have architectural, cultural, environmental, or historical significance.

Where does your donation go?

In 2017, The Villagers awarded college scholarships to 10 deserving students with an interest in architectural historic preservation and restoration. The recipients include students from the University of Miami, University of Florida, Florida International University, and Miami-Dade County’s Design and Architecture High School
